When Pearly's adored husband Joel dies, life is not worth living, and she is fully prepared to kill herself. But then she finds a document on which Joey had detailed seven things he never got to do, and instead of committing suicide she determines to do them all, including a couple of her own secret wishes. In the process, Pearly finds her way back to stability--and to something approaching her husband's strong religious faith as well.
