The Sons Of Daniel Shaye
Having lost a wife to violence and a son to retribution, onetime Texas sheriff Daniel Shaye has brought what remains of his shattered family -- two grown boys fiercely devoted to their father and justice -- to Vengeance Creek, Arizona. In a lawless town, they become the law, grieving for their slain loved ones while looking to start a new life free of further bloodshed. But destiny has other plans for the Shayes.Eight men ride into town with designs on the bank's money -- and when they ride out, a dozen innocent people are dead and Dan Shaye is down with a gunshot wound. Now it's up to his boys to settle one more score, riding hell for leather toward a final reckoning ... and a mystery. And if Death comes again for the sons of Daniel Shaye, so be it, because any man who won't lay down his life for what is right is no man at all.

Self-made celebrity and outlaw of gross-out comedy, Tom Green (of MTV's TOM GREEN SHOW) makes the leap to the big screen with the outrageous semi-autobiographical FREDDY GOT FINGERED. Starring as Gord Brody, a slacker fast-approaching 30, yet still living in his father's basement, Green is his usual obtusely hilarious, polymorphously perverse self. Physical comedy ascends to the realm of extreme performance art as Brody's unachievable lifelong dream to become an animator causes him to clash with his hardened father (played by the steely and equally funny Rip Torn.) A furtive love affair with a wheelchair-bound rocket scientist and the disturbing hijinks of a troublesome younger brother named Freddy form the core of the sublimely stupid plot that serves mainly as a platform from which Green launches his incredible and often irrational comedic fare. Testing the limits of comedy, Green's deceptively moronic film does, at times, achieve a level of visual and conceptual cleverness, crafting ironic and primordial images from jokes on human folly.DVD Features:Region 1Keep CaseAnamorphic Widescreen - 1.85Single Side - Dual LayerAudio: Digital Surround 5.1 - English Dolby Surround - English Dolby Surround - FrenchAdditional Release Material: Audio Commentary - 1.
